Not every town is a candidate every year, and I highly doubt they’d send an Earth Pony to do an inspection of a Pegasus city. You’re just being stupid.
Cloudsdale could have been a candidate. Cloudsdale SHOULD have been a candidate. Have you seen the Cloudosseum? Its enough of a travesty that they don’t have a chance to redeem themselves, but that they aren’t even considered in the running is just insult to injury.
And this is why he doesn’t write.

I’m really curious what a d1 would look like now.
But, it’s very clear that Cloudsdale isn’t a candidate, judging by that year’s selection of an inspector. If Cloudsdale was a candidate, Harshwinny would have been a Pegasus, not an Earth Pony. I’m not saying there weren’t other candidates, but you’re the only one who thinks Cloudsdale was a candidate that year.
There’s gotta be some other place in the running, or else it wouldn’t be a running would it? You don’t roll 1d1 and feel suspense about the outcome.
And you’re assuming all Cloudsdale residents take the games as seriously as ultra-competitive Rainbow Dash?

They never once mention Cloudsdale being a candidate this year, and seeing as this time the inspector was clearly an Earth Pony, and thus couldn’t get to Cloudsdale, it’s not even likely that it was even one of the candidates in the first place.

if it was money then yes i will be pissed who ever took it but in MLP it’s a show for everyone
So if I were to steal someone’s money, then the next day, they come up to me and say “I’m upset that you stole my money, give it back.” I would be justified in saying “Get over it, that was the past.” (Also, punctuation sometimes helps make sentences more clear.)
