Oh cool, hi.  
She’s not hopping on the wingless steps. She’s just kinda prancing on the spot. I’ve seen Twilight, and other ponies actually, do it a few times on the show. Even when she’s nervous, her legs just kinda go everywhere.  
It looks weird but, not enough for it to look wrong.

Now that I think about it the motion is illogical. She couldn’t be propelling herself because her legs don’t “spring”. That’s not to say the animation isn’t good, just something for the artist to consider for future animating projects.

Damn, this is probably the best model I’ve seen to date. It’s rendered well so that there aren’t weird lighting artifacts. Also, the joints in the legs and wings and such just seem to work so well. They normally have weird wrong looking creases and joints usually look too mechanical. (especially compared to the fluidity of joints in mlp) This is really nice work!! (and of an OC no less)
