Celestia never looked like that, not to me anyway.
There was a fanfic based off an image similar to this (probably by the same artist). Haven’t read it in a while and can’t find it now, but I remember it being real good.
Even if it is out of canon.
Actually, judging by the eyelashes, they’re still female and are attempting the slightly more realistic horse-muzzle face as seen on Celestia.
