I think it’s for that fleshy little bare bit at the base of a pony’s tail. It isn’t exactly easy to see in Ambris’s art, what with his mostly-monochromatic style, but it’s evident in >>423673.
I apologize. My reply should have been aimed at James Rye below you, the gist being that dominance isn’t about the positions.

I don’t think dom means what you think it means.
Somebody being physically on top or being the initiator of a sexual encounter doesn’t make them dominant. Being a dom is about having, or at least mutually pretending to have, control over the pacing, choice of activities, etc.
Some people dig a dom/sub dynamic. Some people don’t. Sometimes it’s the same people on different days.
Actually I believe Ambris has drawn 1 truly explicit thing before. (just one)
There’s enough places for explicit work anyway, just wish since it’s a really shippy blog that it could at least somewhat show (or rather say) that they’re romantically involved.
Eh. One of the things I like about Ambris is that he’s never outright explicit in his art.

And no-dom sex just means they change dom-positions pretty often, one time Twi is bottom and the next top and so on.^^
