We have a policy of removing the works of artists when the artists request their removal; at the time we extended that interpretation to include works that were not just art but also simply words.
 
We have since decided that that will no longer be the case and that removals will only apply to actual art. That said, we do not feel it would be beneficial to anyone to recover the content we “lost”.

Posts were wiped from here? That’s a shame…but then, DWM is enough of a stain on the fan base, I suppose it’s better to remove as much of it as possible. Many of the more moronic posts found their way to ED, though.
 
And yes, the majority of them that I experienced were extremely anti-JJ. I just hope the backlash hasn’t been a burden on him.

Good luck with that! A hilariously high number of people involved with DWM wiped the more damning/idiotic Tumblr posts, nevermind asking us to scrub them off the booru for them. Which we did, something a part of me regrets. Oh, the things I know, the “privileged” information I have access to… if only you knew! But I have morals.
 
No, no; the idiots in this were the DWM people that were too honest about their intentions and only realized how awful their PR was so until after it was so painfully apparent.

I can get the whole ‘molestation as a sensitive issue’ thing. It’s terrible. But the Molestia Tumblr is just a freakin’ cartoon. If we’re going to undo everything that has sensitive context, we’d have to get rid of cartoons/comics with any form of conflict, because any form of conflict can be considered sensitive material.
 
People need to learn to seperate reality from fantasy - not just the weirdos who make cartoon characters their waifus, but also people who run stupid petitions like this.

Some people don’t understand the difference between real life and just a web comic.

This was funny the first week, all the social justice people finding the name of a tumblr that didn’t quite sound nice complaining, later to be backed up by armies of white knights. It’s just getting old. Now, if you can make up an anti rape image that involves rape…

I bet some of these people are the same ones that protest abortion, but would find it acceptable to blow up an abortion clinic, possibly killing anyone inside, and causing millions in damages.

Maybe people just like him because they objectively find him funny. You don’t have to explain why you think something is funny. You just do. Trying to rationalise it is about as pointless as explaing a joke.
 
Also, congratulations for stating that apperantly evey single person that likes jj is to dumb to form their own opinion. Without your geniousness we never would have found out this 100% solid fact.

At first I wished that I could send a reply to the supporter comments on the bottom of that petition page to give my counter arguments about their views on rape.  
But then I remember that those people are fucking crazy.

I find the phrase “If you don’t like it, don’t watch it” not a very good way to tell someone off because you need to see the content before making an actual judgement but instead, how about this?
 
If you don’t like it, stop coming back just to bitch about it and do something worth your time.
