…Yeah that’s about how it happened with me. Saw ponies invading forums and imageboards and thinking it was just 4chan and furries trolling and making promises it couldn’t keep. I had been fooled by anime that /a/ had recommended after all.
 
I actually got a little creeped out when a resident Uber Waifufag switched his waifu to ponies overnight. This show CHANGED people, man!
 
So I avoided it up until a friend said he wanted to watch it but he needed a buddy. And he’d promise to owe me a favor. Its very hard to get favors out of this guy but he keeps them. So I watched thinking “I’ll just see a few then complain about how gay it is.”
 
…Around episode 7 is when I came to your realization.
 
Granted I still joined a little late, because by the time I caught up, Nightmare Night was new!
