In which Heart Throb pines for love, and Paradise sings a song to soothe her friend’s longings, provoking the romantic’s imagination.
Paradise: “A regular prince charming, when he comes, you’ll know at once it’s love! Yes, when he comes, you’ll know at once it’s love!”
To be fair, Paradise is singing about Heart Throb finding a prince, while Heart Throb fantasizes about him. He’s just one of the fairy tale archetypes in this episode, not even ‘alive’ (though real enough to flirt later).
This isn’t the only time Heart Throb has appreciated humanoid romance, either, but Twilight is no better now, if you take EQ Girls as canon.
Xenophilia and interspecies stuff in fiction back then didn’t get as much negative attention either, there wasn’t a ‘furry’ taboo.
Conspiracy is at hand!!
“Tell me something I don’t know.”
“I open-mouth kissed a horse once.”
If the FCC would even allow this to be a kid’s show anymore.
