Y’mean, that freaky mutant clone that appeared in one episode of the new TMNT show? “Derp! Derp! Derp!”
Well, taking the sequel into account, he didn’t “die,” if you consider the sequels canon. Sense his helmet supposedly protected his melon.
Funny thing is, in the original black & white Mirage Studios comics, Shredder died in the very first issue. (Though, he came back to life later.)
I remember the original movie. Was good, but I did’t like how Shridder die in the end. Just watch, he dies in a dump be the crushing mechanism by Casey.
The original movie came out in 1990 actually. The campier original TMNT cartoon came out in 1987.
I actually think he’s pretty threatening/badass in the new 2012 TMNT Nick show to. In fact, the only “victories” the turtles have had against him whenever they encountered/fought him so far (which is only twice so far) is escaping with their lives.
This new Shredder is pretty dark, and means business.
I also kinda like how the turtles in the new show are gradually becoming better fighters, rather then being “great” at the start. So there’s a bit of character development in the series to.
The 1987 movie, the 2003 reboot, and several comics where he’s a complete badass.
