Y’know, thinking about it, Pinkie being friends with Flowey is actually really on point. I don’t know that is the direction they’re planning on going, but this at least a reference to the oddly loveable murder tulip.

If something else has taken control of pinkie then I suppose it would explain Luna being unable to read any of her dreams

I don’t know, not necessarily. This sequence is leaving things very ambiguous, it still might be the case that there’s more going on. That first couple shots of Pinkie waking up she seemed rather shocked and depressed, her mane even looked like it was deflating. But then that strange flower appears, and it starts speaking to her and seemingly distorts reality around it, and all of a sudden she seems to forget her predicament, that is very suspicious. Now it could just be a figment of her imagination, something her diseased mind dreamed up to escape the monstrous things she’s done. Or maybe it’s a sign that someone or something else is involved, maybe screwing with her mind and her senses so that she never has a chance to realize what she’s been doing.

If this is not an intentional Undertale reference, then I don’t know what is. Really didn’t expect this story to head towards crossover territory.
