Despite it’s cheesiness, I think it’s got a decent story line, the whole homosexuality metaphor mixed with a kid-friendly mob movie, it’s so ridiculous it works!
Nothing wrong with that, and this is the same BP as in the previous comment. Despite my low opinion of it, I can see how someone can overlook its flaws (or, for some of them, not consider them flaws) and genuinely like Shark Tale.
…I liked Shark Tale…
Oh, and Shark Tale is very likely the worst animated movie from a major studio in the past 25 years, yes. I keep coming this close to erasing its existence out of my memory, and then something like this brings it back to mind again. :P
Oh, I have no qualms with saying the movie looks spectacularly uninspiring, based on the information we have so far, and that it’s very unlikely to be good. I just think it’s premature to say that it is awful, or that it’s certain to be awful.
Dude, the director’s most memorable role on the record was “head of story” & some roles in Shark Tale. Another movie that looked awful from the trailers and, guess what, turned out to be AWFUL.
I’ve given Dreamworks the benefit of the doubt for some movies that didn’t initially appeal to me (Kung Fu Panda, Megamind, Rise of the Guardians) and, as it turned out, I enjoyed them.
Turbo? I had to sit through this trailer in front of freakin’ Man of Steel and saw absolutely nothing redeemable about it, save for the voice cast. And it’s getting a Netflix premiere TV show? Screw it all, seriously.
And here we go again with pre-judging a movie before it’s out based on a trailer and the creative team’s track record.
No way, a Dreamworks movie is absolutely terrible? Shocker.
Y’know, usually I try to give Dreamworks a chance before I see their newest movie…
…but Turbo looks absolutely aweful.

And with the Sewer finally safe, Fluttersnail could retire from adventuring, and one day, tell her little snailets about her grand journeys, to inspire all of mollusk-kind.

Well a gator at the toad and helped Fluttersnail out.
But the torrent of water sent poor Fluttersnail into a sewer, the lair of a fearsome DragonToad!
But it was raining, so the golem melted.
“HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!!” England shouted.
Chuckles the Silly Piggy laughed. “Because I’v got magic.”
England pulls out his magic book. “Well, I’ve got magic too. Let’s see how you like it, porker.”
Right before he was attacked by a salt golem!
Thankfully, England was there with a few of his soldiers and took back Fluttersnail.
It was attacked by French land-pirates.
You mean the crow carried her to a farm upstate where she can play with all the other snails, right?
