I don’t get it. Why do some people hate “My Little Pony: The Movie” from 2017 (which is the only My Little Pony movie to be based off on a My Little Pony tv show)?

At least the Mane Six are allowed to fall in love in EqG, unlike FiM which Faust’s rule still applies until the final episode. Even if she left.

Also for redemption, I mean the franchise since in the eyes of the majority, it fell from grace and everyone hates everything after Season 4. Not to mention a majority didn’t like the 2017 movie.

How can you redeem those who don’t want to change? Can’t you just accept that not everyone wants to change for the better or cares about others? You can’t redeem everyone. It is 100% impossible. G4 was realistic by not redeeming all of its villains. Unless Twilight casted a mind control spell on Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy Glow. That way they could ‘change for the better’. Look, I am sorry if you think everyone can change but this is just not true. You can’t save or help everyone. Some people won’t change and it doesn’t matter what you do. Also please, don’t give me the “she is just a kid” speech. There isn’t enough proof that Cozy is just a kid. Cozy doesn’t act or think like one.
As for EqG. Hasbro never cared about that spin-off. Yes, it is a spin-off. The only reason they created EqG was to sell more toys and compete against Monster High. I still can’t understand how such a boring concept was successful. They took G4’s magical world and turned it into a bland school.
G4 isn’t over, G5 is literally a sequel. It’s the same bloody world but now it is set in the future. Some people don’t accept yet but give them time. They still can’t accept that Chrysalis, Cozy and Tirek were just working together, they were never friends. Those three couldn’t give a single fuck about each other. These people just won’t accept that there are things they can’t change.

Anyways, enough off-topic talk (Since someone HATES continuity.), let’s just admire how Mayer’s concept art looks good.

Tell that to the critics who hate Hasbro and with their bias hated the 2017 film (even if it’s faithful to the source material, which could have saved Hasbro’s reputation in the film industry), the former fans that left the fandom after Season 3, the people in this fandom who hated everything after Season 4 or 3 and EqG and the comics.

Sure, there are a few fans who like everything G4 after Season 4 and don’t criticize, but it’s a minority.

Comics are nice, but they don’t move and that’s not enough. Also, it’s either Image or Bob Kirkman’s Skybound but Hasbro decided only TF and G.I. Joe. But possibly they might pick all aside from Joe and TF except Power Rangers.

Yes, they could make side stories, but it would have to either be through IDW. And I kinda doubt it, since:

Then they should still plan additional side stuff for G4 while STILL planning Generation 5.

Just like they did with Transformers. But nope, they said fuck G4 and started moving on from that to plan a Tara Strongless G5.

No graduation for the EqG, no redemption for Generation 4, nothing. The end. And most fans don’t like everything post-Season 4 and that’s sad and that’s what makes me think G4 will be forgotten.
