There immortal or either long lived, regardless Cadance will be watching Shining Armor die while she lives on.

Perhaps I made a mistake in my judgment. Because it may well be that Celestia was informed about a certain young foal who tried to talk to her niece more than once. In fact, I would say that Shining’s behavior as a child was not like stalking.
I’m not sure she is, actually, but that panel was just showing how intimidating Shining finds her.
I think it’s the latter. Although the first option would also have taken place if Celestia had known about Shining’s love in advance. But, as we see in this chapter, Celestia was surprised when she saw their budding connection

His mortality, not wanting Cadance to experience the pain in a hundred years when he inevitably dies. Maybe she has her own personal reasons. Or maybe Celestia is simply just in a bad mood.
