There’s a type of vegetarian diet that allows eggs ad dairy products. Hell, there’s one that allows seafood, but no other type of meat.
 
Also, of course Fluttershy doesn’t mind feeding carnivorous animals. They’re not ponies, they’re pets. Would you eat cat food? No, I don’t think so. Would you feed it to the cat? Absolutely. Because that’s what you do.

They eat chicken eggs and use them in baking, so not completely.
 
Fluttershy is also okay with feeding animals to other animals, and ponies have carnivorous pets.
 
Pretty sure that Pinkie Pie wasn’t being completely literal in that song, especially since herbivores are capable of eating meat. It’s actually easier to digest than plant matter.

Let’s just say you don’t need as many pigs as Applejack has just to hunt for truffles. Plus, having a pig hunt for truffles is a terrible idea since dogs have a comparable sense of smell and don’t eat truffles when they find them.
 
So they’re probably familiar with meat eating.

I’d mention something about how she’s essentially been banished to the human world and won’t be coming back to Equestria any time soon, but it’s a game designed to entice children to empty their parent’s bank accounts, so who cares.

Whenever we see that phrase, we can assume it translates to: “just under Twilight” in terms of ability.

Atleast she was until she stole Twilight’s crown. She’s in the Badlands with Chrysalis now.
