She went on about how powerful she was, but went to pieces when she was all alone, and seemed to be afraid of trusting others. I really wanted them to reform at the end, and was sure that’s where the show was going. A lot of people did; that’s why the petrification scene upset so many fans

good to know I am not the only one who saw it like that.

Also never said “nice”, just not irredeemable like the writers think
