most monarchies wouldn’t allow thousands of there people get get and mock others who protect them, because those massive castles in real life were design to house them if the land was attack
because without commoners they’re no food, blacksmiths or taxes, without those they’re no army, and without that you’re soon dead
MLP is pretty much how you’d HOPE a fantasy monarchy would work, SFaI is how it most likely really would…
But MLP and SFaI are two very different things
MLP is about friendship, being cool and getting shit done while SFaI is about incest, douchebaggery, and inefficiency
