Yup, going through this right now. You’re not explicitly told/trained on how to gun it without going too hard on your accelerator, but if you want to get good with left turns you need to know how to get assertive with the gas while also steering into the right lane.
Edit: Also I know RD/Fluttershy can fly, but they probably don’t want to fly out the windshield. Buckle up, you dorks!

Yeah that was my driving instructor. I didn’t cry, but I felt really bad afterwards. At the end he said something like: “WHAT WERE YOU DOING OUT THERE?!? THERE IS GOING TO BE A CONCERT WITH HOW MUCH PEOPLE ARE GOING TO HONK AT YOU!!!
Unfortunately, rules are rules and I have to give you your license…”

Worst part for me is the sense of betrayl and hypocrisy when i warn family members to not yell while i drive.
They promise and assure me that they NEVER yelled at me before.
5 minutes in :“OH MY F- YOU ARE DRIVING 50 ON A 50! COME ON!!! EVERYONE ON THE ROAD IS BOTHERED BY YOU! YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE YOUR LICENSE! GO FASTER!”
And as soon as we get out of the car, they are hit with amnesia and DON’T remember even raising their voice at me.
