Yeah, it’s a show made on a shoestring budget with (I assume) tight time constraints - it makes sense they’d reuse assets
The reason she had the rainbow stripe already in that recording of Argyle that Northern linked, i always assumed was just because they already had the asset of baby Sunny with the stripe due to her turning into a filly in ‘modern’ time and they were just like ‘meh, no need to make a slightly new one’.
Even if that was the case this is before she goes in and she has them in a video message in season 1
