Yeh, it’s understandable. For PNG we do lossless, and it saves a decent chunk. For JPG we do 98% and work under the assumption we’re grabbing from the original source (DA or artist themself), not an upload of an upload etc. Compression from that can save a good deal if it’s just one step, but yeah, if it’s something passed around between different boorus and people and everyone does their little own 98%…
 
The bigger problem is art programs still saving to JPG, of course =p

Anyway hope you don’t mind me complaining about that, but I just don’t trust any sort of ‘optimization’ thanks to having been on compuserve pre-merge with AOL, and then moving to prodigy. Everyone back then ‘resaved’ pics before sending them to you at 50% quality or thereabouts and a few years down the line you finally notice how horrible they look. I always ask for the direct artist source wherever possible.

I get your point. So here how it is:
 
I love lesbian pony art, regardless of sexual acts or not.
 
I can sometimes “clop” but I keep it to myself.  
And I do personally still find it a little creepy.
 
But my starting point was that creating an “OC” based on you, and drawing or writing about them having sex with canon ponies is not exactly cute. Stuff like that should, once again, be kept a secret and not shared. (Not saying that’s how I demand it, but how I wish it would be)
 
I don’t mean any offence to the artists, but I am quite quick to give my opinion.
 
So sorry for labeling things as creepy, though I do understand that a’lot of people like it, and that I come off as a “Stop liking what I don’t like” type of guy. I do respect other peoples opinion…. I just tend to whine about it.

I’m just saying, in a perfect world it would be best if you didn’t admit to watch pony porn. That is one of the reasons why bronies get hate.

Hmm. I doubt it. I’ll give you the benefit of doubt, and say I can’t be sure. Right now, I would say that I wouldn’t ever think about having sex with a cartoon character, but if it was possible that I got the chance to do so, I might take it. Kinda depends. But creating art and stories in a pathetic attempt to get closer to their fantasy, is just creeeepy. Even if people were to do that (which they are) they should just keep it to themself. All cloppers out there should just shut up about pony porn and keep it a secret.

If you are referring to my previous comics, I reiterate that I DID NOT write them myself. I simply turned someone else’s stories into comics. The hybrid child of a human and Applejack WAS my idea, but only because I was in a “Satyr thread” on /mlp/ and they requested some art from me. I obliged and created the satyr children. An anon wrote a story about Applejack’s and it was so charming, I made it into a short comic.

how do you know that is what the artist was basing it on? you do not know his fav pony nor if this is his fantasy and even if it is i do not see anything wrong with it as long as the art and story is decent.

Yeah but like… I just find the idea of “I want to marry my favorite pony, therefore I will write or draw a human guy based on me, being with the pony of my choice” creepy. It’s just… pathetic.
