I am not the type of artist to keep track of how many man-hours it takes to make art, but I’d say the updates alone to the new tree were around 7ish hours, and adding the hours from before just doing the tree before the renovations….I dunno man…15 hours? Well one thing’s for sure: it took forever, but it no longer matters because MY WORK IS DONE!!

PHEW! This thing was quite the undertaking! The tree vector of the tree freshly grown was already pretty awesome, but now that all the bells and whistles have been added, it fits in quite well with the Lauren Faust aesthetic!

The contractors in Ponyville added some doors, windows, lanterns, and some playground accessories like swings, slides and decks. And if you think the outside looks good, they did some more intricate work on the interior to make floors, steps, separate rooms, closets, shelves, electricity, and topped it off with a little treehouse for the ceiling in the top room!

And again in case you are new, this clubhouse is planted where Golden Oaks Library, and ironically, Tirek was the one who planted it! I was so happy to give the GOL a proper send-off and give it a replacement, and it feels so bittersweet having this vector completed! I’ll be sure to make some pictures of Flurry and her friends enjoying themselves in here and hopefully I can get around to doing some interior designs soon!

The clubhouse will make its debut in the next episode of Flurry Heart’s Story, “The Ghost of Grogar”, which is the first episode of Season 2. This one’s gonna be epic!
