Discord’s design was inspired by Cab Calloway and Disney villains like Scar and Dr. Falicier. I gave him a zoot suit because he wears one in a 1920s-themed scene (I’m pretty sure it’s a reference to Calloway too) and it was popularized by African-American comedians in the 20s.

Sunset’s also more decked out than pictured. Along with a bolt-action rifle and rapier sword, she carries a revolver and a flaming whip.
