Not a Llama - Happy April Fools Day!

Just coming with this out of the blue, and I know I’ll be getting lots of flack for this. Here is who I see as each of the characters. (I carefully matched each of the opposing characters to be their foil or relate to each of them).

Lightning Dust is Asch the Bloody
Tree Hugger is Legretta
Moondancer is Dist
Apple Bloom is Sync (because Ikue Ohtani)
Maud Pie is Arietta
Fancypants is Largo
Fausticorn is Yulia
Lord Tirek is Van
Princess Celestia is Emperor Peony
Apple Bloom is also Ion (Japanese voice actor again and — Whoops! Spoilers!)
Background Pony #4279
Yeah, all of the characters in Tales of the Abyss had some pretty big flaws. Which is realistic fiction writing, but there was more tension than bond though most of the game. And the lack of trust between them was a little bit frustrating at times.

A lot of the plot conflict could have been resolved a lot quicker if the main cast were more trusting with each other. Every one of the characters except Luke had something important to divulge, that should have been divulged a lot sooner.

Still, it’s a great game. I just don’t like it as much as Tales of Symphonia. I don’t mean this in any small way, either. It’s one of the best RPG of all time and one of the best games for the PlayStation 2. If one is interested in RPGs for the PlayStation 2, you can’t go wrong with Persona 4, Tales of the Abyss or Dragon Quest VIII. They’re some of the best on the platform and very memorable.

I’d give just about anything for a Namco Bandai developed My Little Pony game. Done in the Tales format, it would be a massive adventure.
