Ember is in extreme heat from flying upon miles into the desert. She’s exhausted and hovers down onto the sand and feels a slight tug. The sand is pulling her under and Ember doesn’t want to budge out. In fact, she wants to sink further as she can safely descend down. The quicksand reaches to her thighs, to her waist, finally reaching to her chest. The coolness of the sinking sand relieves her from the scorching heat. With Ember’s wings sticking out, she’ll be able to free herself out of the trap.
