Failure

I drew this shortly after messing something really important up. I was feeling sad, and when I feel sad, I draw ponies. ^_

And it’s not a mistake that Derpy doesn’t have her cutie mark in this image. When I drew this, I was thinking “What if Derpy kept trying to get her cutie mark and she kept messing things up? And what if she was much older when she finally got it?”

I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t an extremely personal piece. I mean, come on… what artist doesn’t feel like a failure when it comes to their art at one point or another? We wouldn’t be artists if we didn’t feel this way. :)
