This 2017 version was someones attempt to fully animate IsaiahhDJKim’s 2012 rough sketch and since Isaiah never followed through with fully animating this and seemed to have disappeared, Derek Pony took it upon himself to animate this. Not exactly a perfect repilica of the sketch, but Derek did pretty good.
Also this uses the orchestral version created by David Larsen of the song and not the original song by AwkwardMarina from 2012.
I know. I was talking about the countless wars we had and still have. Honestly I didn’t even think about fandom drama but those still work, especially the raid on Starlight Glimmer.

Ponies at Dawn as a whole needs more followers, haha. A lot of amazing smaller artists use them to release their tracks. It’s how I discovered a number of great brony musicians myself, especially after the BronyTunes service was discontinued.
Those are more related to her world but yeah, those too.
Yeah Lyra knows not of the terrible Twilicorn War or the Raid on Starlight.
Considering the person says hes 21, I assume he was a teen when he drew this in 2017, whereas Isaiah was already an art student who probably already had some experience under his belt. Still I admire the effort though I hope Isaiah is not mad at Derek for animating this before he could.
I’ll have to learn about how to remove the garbage part of youtube links sometime.
It really sounded fun. Too bad its not viewed a lot. But I like the music. Lot of energy. Lyra would be proud.

You should eventually listen to the BlackIceMusic remix of this song that was released in February 2023 as a part of the Ponies at Dawn ‘Dreamwalkers’ compilation album. It is a truly fantastic remix, and definitely worth the listen if you get the chance.

Thhis rendition of the Anthropology song is from 2017 but the original song is from 2012. And that songs was based off the famous fanfiction about Lyra called Anthropology from 2011 to 2012.
