It’s a reference to the main character saying they love Chai tea, even though chai means tea, and the other character tells them it’s like saying coffee coffee.

It’s incorrect to assume I’ve lost all will to draw Venus. She is a gen 4 character and I like things to make sense, so I can’t just draw her in the gen 5 universe. Personally I really enjoy the new generation and I want to start making content for it.

No, I get that. I probably should have said I also understand why people would be sad that he apparently doesn’t want to draw her anymore, despite getting why he might want to move on.

Besides, you never know for sure. There’s always the possibility that he’ll still do some Venus pictures even if he moves primarily to this new character.

knowing Venus, I’d be shocked if this was her only descendent
I’m a little surprised she even has a descendent. I swear I remember part of her backstory being that she was infertile.

Oh well. Perhaps I missed a retcon somewhere. And if not, easy enough to handwave it with “magic”.

I guess this means the goodbye to venus… it was clear mars was tired of drawing her but it still hurts…
He has been drawing her for like a decade now. I can’t really blame him for wanting to branch out a bit.

That being said, now that we know she’s going to have a descendant, it would have been nice to see a final wholesome one with her as a mom, or something like that.
