I’m mean surely they are golden ponies to raise the sun and moon, but do they have to go that far, even to tease Opaline just because she’s different? The nerve.

I did felt bad for her being left alone, when she was a filly. I know Princess Celestia and Luna were great when they raised the sun and moon and brought harmony and balance, but they don’t have to be mean to Opaline.

It is indeed possible, because I had a similar experience. I made many mistakes when I was a child. When I look back when I grow up, I think what I should do to make up for it, but I can’t get back.

I mean, if we take the word of Opaline at face value, maybe - but I don’t think so because I’m sure there are plenty of people that were mean children who turned into wonderful adults.
And even still, like I mentioned above, this is all filtered through Opaline’s narcissistic perspective - it’s possible (probable, even) that her being snubbed like that, this sense of fillyhood rivalry with Celestia and Luna, is partially, if not entirely, exaggerated by her.
