Ah, yes, fan art frequently reinterprets characters as humans, dogs, cats, actual horses, et cetera, because the anime-inspired designs are often seen bearing strong resemblances to other non-equine species… Eh, Hell, official shit does it too, but I cannot recall if they have done so more than fan art.
