For those unfamiliar with one of the episodes, ‘Sunset’s Backstage Pass’ is a story about Sunset Shimmer, former rogue equine student of Celestia turned heroic human protector of CHS, trying to enjoy a music festival with her friends but finding herself somehow caught up in a magical time-loop, reliving the same day over and over. Amid many attempts to locate the cause of this mystical temporal disturbance, Sunset happens to learn performing at the festival are the first villains she ever took down with her new friends: the musically enchanting trio of Equestrian sirens known as the Dazzlings. A well known source of trouble and less than repentant following their previous defeat, which left them devoid of most of their power, they quickly go to the top of Sunset’s list of likely suspects for being behind her never-ending first day of the festival. Through no easy means, Sunset manages to sneak her way backstage to confront the Dazzlings, searching their van and when caught in the act, accuses them of using an artifact to force them all to repeatedly experience the same day over and over. However, much to Sunset’s shock, all it takes is a touch to use her geode magic to feel through Adagio’s memories, and prove all of them innocent… at least, regarding this particular incident. Now bereft of any substantial leads and stuck facing off three of the most contentious individuals she knows, sadly solving the mystery of the time-loop will have to wait another cycle as Sunset finds herself with a more pressing concern…

The Dazzlings certainly have not forgotten the shame they suffered at the hands of Sunset Shimmer when they last met during the Battle of the Bands and their campaign to take over the human world with their haunting melody was bought to a end, and now not only having had to suffer the loss of their magic (albeit through their own misuse of them) but to be accused of further wrong-doing by this red-headed snoop sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong? Why, a little payback seems quite justified in their eyes. Sunset’s power being more suited for investigations rather than combat, three irate Dazzlings is more than enough to overwhelm one spunky pony-girl, and though she puts up a fierce fight her fiery attitude can only avail her so much. Quickly bound by her hands and feet (though not before Sonata can relieve her of her stylish leather jacket, finding it would look much cuter on her), Sunset’s cries for them to let her go and threats for what’ll happen if they don’t do little to deter the revenge-hungry sirens, and is not long before her increasingly infuriated tirade is silenced with a well-placed, ‘borrowed’ sock stuffed in her muzzle. Binding and gagging their annoying accuser seemed like a good start, but much to Shimmer’s dismay Adagio had an inspired idea for how Sunset could ‘make it up’ to them… by joining in on their next set.

Cue the stage lights and pumping sounds as Adagio, Aria, and Sonata drag their captured cutie on stage for a once-in-a-lifetime performance, struggling and mmphing every step of the way as a crowd of thousands turn their attention to the upcoming attraction. Sunset can only look on in total helplessness and fury as the Dazzlings literally make a spectacle out of her, fully capturing the gaze of every person in the audience as her pants are promptly tugged all the way down to her knees, a modest pair of purple panties and a beautifully tanned tushie wiggling in desperation as its mortified owner tries to hop away from so many eyes fixated on her predicament. Adagio doesn’t allow poor Sunset to make it far with a quick snag of her underwear, pulling them up good and hard to keep their squirming co-star upright, balanced, and controlled as the sadistic leader of the trio insist the show must go on. The tugs and bounces to her panties causes Sunset to grunt and growl in discomfort, but eyes open wide in horror as she realizes her wedgie does more than merely to keep her in place: it provides Aria, winding up a downright nasty looking paddle, with a much more enticing target. As the music plays, Aria lays on swat after unforgiving swat from the paddle down on Sunset’s vulnerable booty, Sunset yelping with each loud smack to her throbbing, quickly reddening rear. Her attempts to maneuver her burning rump out of harm’s way as she’s publicly paddled like a naughty school-filly only serve to make her look more silly to the now whooping and howling audience, appearing to perform her own little helpless bound dance between Adagio yanking her panties around and Aria’s ongoing spanking of her nearly-bared bottom as it takes on a painful red shade. All while Sonata feels the need to further irritate the unwilling performer with taunts and flaunting of HER jacket!

As the act goes on, after having been bound, gagged, exposed, and spanked live on stage in front of a massive crowd by her vindictive rivals she could have sworn were the true culprits behind all this madness, Sunset’s utter humiliation is only soothed by the realization that tomorrow will reset again, and thankfully no one will remember this utterly degrading show come morning… save for Sunset herself, the memories of which are likely to leave her pride stinging as much as her toasted sun-buns >.<

She will try a few things differently next cycle, for sure.
