I finally got to play the G5 game on a new Nintendo Switch, and while playing I had a thought: What if Opalline invites Sprout to help cause disharmony among ponies? So here we have it, the most unstable alliance ever where they’ll most likely both try to betray each other.

I can see it happening. I can also see Sprout being the cause of her betrayal because:
1 Double agent all along.
2 Genuine repentance.
3. Meets Misty and sees all the abuse. Throws Opaline into the DS 2 reactor.

Lunar Supporter - Helped forge New Lunar Republic's freedom in the face of the Solar Empire's oppressive tyrannical regime (April Fools 2023).

I had a similar thought before MYM came out that Sprout might join Opaline and sell Maretime Bay out to her to become sheriff again. But Opaline is a unicorn supremacist so I don’t think she’d work with an earth pony.
