I meant that it transformed twice. First in TYT, which reverted before it was transformed again in WW.
Yes it’s a stretch rationalization and an issue they didn’t address this in work. The alternative is to accept that G5 is not about the kind of work where 100% consistent worldbuilding is important to the story it’s telling/it’s meant to be judged by.

Zipp and Izzy’s exposition about the Marestream line up too much with what happened in TYT to completely dismiss just because some details, even big ones, don’t align. If we must rationalize them maybe it’s TYT transformation was temporary and their surprise/actions here were do to not yet figuring how it worked/hammering the details out.
But another thing to consider is their dialog in the Wishing Star scene not aligning with how the same seen was shown in TYT “Under the Mistytoe”. You could say the discrepancy was do to the latter being from Misty’s perspective.
But most likely the shows, while canon with each other, are not supposed to be held to the level of continuity where everything is 100% consistent with each other. There is a difference between canon and continuity.

Hasbro already stated a couple of years ago that there will be 2 different G5 TV series, but they will share the same universe meaning that both MYM and TYT are both in the same universe and are canon to each other.
The fans who says that they aren’t both canon, are clearly TYT haters so pay no mind to those fools.
