Let this sink in: My Little Dashie is written terribly. The author tries far too hard to force the reader to feel sympathy for his protagonist when empathy should come naturally, and the narrative contrivances are utterly hilarious in their stupidity.
That also means that the only survivors will be some stupid person trying to hike up Mt. Everest, or something.
Is currently on that tiny island.
Let this sink in: You find an MLP filly in a box. You take care of it, careful not to reveal it to the rest of the world. It becomes like your very own child, and you raise it for 15 years before Celestia and the Mane Six come and take her away.
The writing was mediocre, but the thought of it is depressing.
