I mean it’s also possible that Izzy’s dumpsterdiving episode was made with the intention of being posted later in the series’ “air date” sequence, that happened multiple times with FIM. There’s also the fact that TYT is episodic in nature while MYM is more of a serial.

Okay but are they actually going to make a heckin’ toy of it? FIM was littered with perfectly toyetic concepts that either didn’t get a toy until years after the fact or never got one at all.
I will be pure salt FOREEEVER that they never made any Changedling toys whatsoever.

There being a DHX/IDW division between the series makes the most sense, but I honestly wonder if it’s a situation where the series were originally intended to air simultaneously on a staggered schedule which Netflix screwed up because of their idiotic obsession with binge-dump distribution.

Ok, that confuse me a little bit. Izzy build her vehicle in the first episode of chapter 2 of MYM, which seems to play after the first special because of the existence of sparky. But why did she had the vehicle already in Dumpster diving, which, when I am correct, plays before the special because Izzy created the lantern in that short. Did I miss something or is this a continuety error?
It’s a continuity error…just another example of the “don’t take it too seriously” slap-dash writing that has plagued G5 ever since the movie.
