They’re designed that way on purpose. They’re intentionally uncomfortable so that putting in the effort to actually wear them shows how much you care. It’s the same with suits.

you are overlooking fact that they just came back after some very exhausting party and none of them can think straight at the moment so they won’t figure it out for a while :3
I mean they cast the spell themselves. They can disable it too. Unless that’s like something that’s automatically set up after a house is built, then sucks to be them. Time for a surprise visit to mom and dad again.

I think you are overlooking something simple: Magical defenses to prevent unwanted teleportation. It makes sense in a world where teleportation is a thing.
High heels are always so stupidly designed; it’s a wonder anyone wears those disasters. I feel bad for Starlight.
