Discord is simply recapping what was already established as soon as the G5 movie was announced. How is ANY of this news to any of you? “The three Pony races started hating each other” has been an established fact since G5 started.
And frankly, considering what we saw of Pony society for most of the G5 movie (ie. before the three crystals were found), they handled it amazingly well. Sure, there was prejudice, but Ponies still lived a comfortable and peaceful life.
My point is: you shouldn’t lose your cool over a fact that already well established about a year or so ago.

Because writers can’t think about anything creative than the same political message that doesnt even make sense or compares to human experience. Our equivalent of racism would be if Pink ponies were mean to Yellow ponies, but here they have obvious advantages that make their tribalism an important issue, since Unicorns could technically dominate the minds of Earth Pony leaders and use it for their own economical and political gain. Basically Hasbro just try to make MLP be like Zootopia and failing for several years

this flashback makes no sense and writer didn’t watch the show. Discord doesn’t cry over some ponies insulting Fluttershy and Discord doesn’t get scared when some unicorn attacks Fluttershy. He gets mad and violent. This comics are just non canon fanfiction with as bad OOC quality as the issues with Twilight getting pushed over by Bull bandits

Why did racism become the “default” setting for ponies? Cozy Glow makes a couple of remarks here and there and suddenly there’s almost a race war, Twilight had to make the magic flashlight and shove all magic in it because society fell apart again only a few years later. Then G5 shows when ponies so much as breath in a way as other ponies don’t like - RACISM!
As Twilight herself said in the series finale, “there will always be darkness in the world, but there will also always be those who find the light…. There will always be more to do, which is why we teach others about the Magic of Friendship. Others who will continue our mission after we are gone.”
Ideas like discrimination and otherization don’t just disappear forever because of one nice speech. It takes continuous work to fight them and keep them at bay, and the underlying divisions that cause them can remain for centuries even after the overt acts seem like they’ve been solved. And sometimes, all it takes is for some of those fighting to ease up slightly, or for one crisis to create a reason to bring those divisions to the forefront again, and decades of progress or stability can be undone in a moment. That’s just how history is.

I know that racism is a big issue in real life, but seriously, with how it happen again within 30 years after Twilight took over the leadership, it just made all ponies look stupid. Like it took just some ponies starting shit to make many ponies being This blatantly racist.

You can’t get over the fact that racism never ends, can you?
I never said racism can be over and using that theme is bad, i said G5 should stop abusing of that, the only media that don’t have it is the youtube series but the rest talks about racism like it’s the only theme G5 can talk instead of other stuff like family problems, the dangers of social media, how is the new world.
And the problem of racism in G5 is their oversimplification that don’t gives a lot of material to have an entire arc because it’s repeating over and over, also is horrible that the only way to unify all of them is being threatened with a gun to not be racist.

Funny you say that and the this arc barely started. You can’t get over the fact that racism never ends, can you? It doen’t matter if they talked about it before. Racism doesn’t end like magic. But you are getting angry over nothing because in the end there will be other arcs once this arc is over. Do you know why? Because this is just an arc among many other yet to come. Arcs which may not even repeat the same message of “racism is bad”. But go ahead waste your anger on an arc that barely even started and in the meantime you should waste it on the Netflix series as well. ’Cause it will talk about racism, too.

G5 needs to stop using racism plot for at least 5 minutes. (Is not bad using it but… 4 times in few time in different media?)
Not just Cozy Glow who had this racism, it was Chrysalis who convinced Ponies to suddenly become a racist.
