Description

After years of nothing but horror movies I’m kind of desensitized.
Here’s a bit of trivia, the level of gore and blood in “Braindead” was so high, that the British Board of Film Classification found it downright comical and inoffensive. They almost gave the movie a PG-13 rating, but in the end they went for an R because they thought viewers would be motivated to find out if the human body really did have that much blood in it.
This movie’s fun, not gonna lie.

It would’ve been hilarious if they labelled this movie as PG-13 because there’s so much gore it just becomes unrealistic and cartoony. But in the spirit of the BBFC, I’m putting a warning and restriction on this one, just to be sure because you don’t know who’s going to get offended by anything anymore.
Movie Slate has been dealing with horror movies for so long, she’s just desensitised of everything, nothing fazes her anymore.

I actually got Braindead and Evil Dead 2 on DVD from the same used movie store, back in my gymnasium days. Barely a crease on both of them.
Can only imagine somebody tried horror, googled some classics, and did NOT care for what they got. XD
