The whole NFT thing is getting a lot of flak, so this feels like a cheap shot. However, I got like a dozen things in sketches and for some reason I can’t bring myself to finish any of them, so have a quick thing before my brain gives up again, lol.
I don’t think it is a strawman argument.
The claim was, “Sprout’s allowed to spend his money on whatever he wants to spend it on,” but counter-examples exist showing that this claim is false.
People waste their money all the time.
That is a straw man argument.
That’s not spending money. It’s wasting it!
But you’re not allowed to spend your money on some things. You can’t hire hitmen or spend your money on certain drugs, for example.
If you invest in NFTs, that right has to get revoked.
Clearly whoever does it has no idea on how to handle money!
