sweetie belle is very 2000s kid energy. she has those sticker jewelry on, all hooves are painted a different color, the cheek hearts are done in sharpie, she goes to claires

scootaloo has a shaved portion on her head. to relate her design to rainbow dash visually she has band-aids and armpit feathers too. she’s also got earrings, which are the only piercings her aunts let her get as a filly. goes all out with tats and piercings later in life

“destiny” is the gloomverse equivalent of cutie marks. it’s not visual, but if a pony has found their destiny other ponies can like, sense it. it’s like smelling something i guess, like it’s just There, and if they don’t have their destiny that …sense, or smell, or whatever, is gone
