Agreed. Especially when you add in the differences between quilts and dresses. (Of course I’d have put AJ into some other profession to show that the clothing isn’t Rarity’s real talent. But I’m not a series writer.)

Something you noticed but didn’t think about, my mother is a home ec. teacher and I learned to sew at a younger age then most, sewing a quilt =/= sewing a dresses.

I like to assume that It wasn’t so much her inability to use a sewing machine, but the constant pressure to meet deadlines, interpret consumer whim, and constantly be creative that was making her stressed.
