While I was finishing the show in 2020, Starlight Glimmer was progressively reminding me a lot more of Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes, particularly when I started watching season 7 (one of my least favourite seasons). Not only that, but she also reminded me of these funny montages where Calvin was Donald Trump. So, since I’m a huge fan of the comic, I’ve made a comic strip referencing Calvin’s culture of victimhood in one of the comic strips.
This is something different that I had in mind for a whole year, maybe more time, but I couldn’t find the time to do it until a couple of days ago. I wish I made this back in 2020.
It’s how the artist sees her. Ignoring any future attempts and effort she actually makes to reform. She wasn’t stupid in doing what was Discord’s gambit in releasing the villains and Trixie was the main instigator in annoying her and finally, she genuinely doesn’t know her limits on her power. Everything is like she never changed when in reality it was Discord All Alooooong!!! Heck, I bet he was the one responsible for her start of darkness because he’s thinks it’s small and funny. Little did he know.
Well neither is Starlight so that makes sense.
Well, for one Calvin is no clinical sociopath.
