Hey everyone,

this is probably one of the biggest commissions I’ve done yet and it’s for the lovely fokspavv, who asked me to draw Daybreaker with the so-called “Blazebolts”, the best flyers in Equestria. An epic poster shot including Rainbow Dash, Spitfire, Lightning Dust and Night Glider, all doing her job to serve the empress herself.

I was given the task to design the Blazebolts’ suit and appearance while also deciding on the fourth character that would represent them alongside RD, Spitfire and Lightning Dust and even though I do know and appreciate Soarin and Fleetfoot to be good flyers, I decided on Night Glider since she got too little attention in my opinion. I think this commission was freaking epic and one incredible one for me to work on! I enjoyed it so much while also putting a lot of time, care and effort into it to make it stand out! Of course, it was challenging but I think everything that went into this drawing was more than worth it^^ Aaaah I’m so happy with the result! What do you think? Would you fear them or follow the empress and obey her? Daybreaker doesn’t seem to be joking around, that’s for sure.
