Lighting Bliss gave me a bunch of new challenges. I got to use my embroidery machine applique skills a lot on her.
Her gold hooves are spandex with a gold satin stitch. Her rainbow mane had to be done in the hoop, with all the very tiny strips of minky. Then her rainbow part of the tail was done in the hoop as well.
Her tail is posable, it has a doll armature in it.
Lighting Bliss’ goggles are 3d Printed, then hand painted by me. I had the file was made by :iconaachi-chan:, then 3d printed by shapeways. After, I got the goggles painted. I cut out 2 lenses out of sheet acrylic and airbrushed a coat of transparent pink on one side.
