That may be, but should equestria girls come back, I’m hoping that changes. Flash desperately needs character development and a love interest and sure Sci Twi may not be interested but once she knows and gets close to him, she’ll develop feelings for him. As for sunset shimmer and the other twilight, yeah that won’t work considering they’re ponies and that would be weird.

How do I explain it? The ship with Twilight of Equestria is super dead, Sci-Twi was not interested in him, and Sunset …. I really don’t know how they haven’t talked about this, but going back to her makes it look like a third option, in my city it’s called a third table dish, the Flashimmer can be considered:

“Oh well, I didn’t get anything with Twilight, so I’ll try to flirt with her version of this world, oh dammit she didn’t want anything with me either, oh my ex is being nice to me, I’ll try to get back to her after being rejected 2 times in a row”

And that makes it a very bad ship, it makes Flash look bad, because he seems like someone desperate for a love relationship who will change girl if the other did not want him, we would have to restart that, giving him a ship with some secondary character other than Twilight or Sunset, the opportunity to do a good job with those ships has been lost, trying to fix that is like fighting an elephant using a stick.

Sorry dude, but fix Flash is no longer possible, when they wanted to improve the character in the shorts it was too late, 4 movies where he did nothing more than a cliche, several specials where he appeared in the background without any dialogue, a short singing a song, and some interactions with Sunset that did not go beyond greetings and outings from friends, which lasted like 6 or 8 seconds in screen, when the end of MLP season 9 was approaching, they are not enough to improve the character, and make a ship based on that, would be forced, trying it no longer had a case, I like what you propose, but fixing a character with 5 years being bad character, it would have been unnatural even if they had given time.

Why not give him more screen time and character development anyway, Even if he’s put in a ship? Why not do both at the same time?

Hmmm, it’s a good idea too, but I would not put him in some ship, his bad moments and little development is when he’s involved with one, when he is doing something heroic like the fight with the robot, it is when he really shines

Im on board on removing timber from equestria girls but i’d rather keep flash and give him more and better character development.

….. I barely understood something of what you said, if it were up to me, I would remove both them of the show, and start over with new male characters that do work, like Hitch in this new generation

Is kinda like the whole comic vs tv show amber in invensible. Comic book amber is just a flat but nice girl while tv show amber has an actual personality buuuut is a really annoying one that makes you wonder why the fuck is the mc into her to begin with
Timber and flash are both just love interests with one or two personality traits but flash is definitely a nicer one than timber who in any other show would be that guy one of the main cast is into for like 1 episode to then realize how lame he is and is only used as comic relief for the rest of the show. Honestly i can only give him a pass for being kinda nerdy and is nice when couples share interests but beyond that he is just annoying. And wouldn’t be surprised the writers thought the same since they gave flash to sunset who has a definitely more protagonistic role than sci-twi in equestria girls

Yes, Sunset is clearly the better love interest.

It’s okay twilight, you can still ditch timber and get it together with sunset

If I had to choose between Timber or Flash, I’d prefer Flash.
They are bad characters, but Sentry is much better and more pleasant
