One of the Ponies said ‘discord’, but he wasn’t referring to Discord. I thought it would’ve been funny if Discord popped up in the background when said Pony said it, only to pout and sulk away when Discord realized the Pony wasn’t referring to the Draconequus.

I think it’s up to the makers if they bring in Discord or not. If he does show up, I’ll expect a vaguely self-aware aside about being in “the next generation.”

I want exactly one cameo from Discord in G5. He shows up, pulls out a script, and says “wait… oh this is New Generation, sorry I’m in the wrong place,” and then leaves.

I believe Discord will be in the G5 show, as a support character and give some hints about what happened to Equestria in the time the tribes got separated.

He has froze himself since fluttershy was dead, we’ll see his revival soon…

I like discord but unless we send this image to hasbro, we should just have some g5 fanart of him instead of a repost but i assume it was just a accident

I highly doubt that Discord will care about the new generation of ponies, from what we have seen, he might not even be in Equestria anymore…

Well, you might do something worse than Sprout like bringing villains back again so it’s safer when you’re not around. And I mean Celestia and Luna didn’t make appearances either and I don’t see them complaining. :D
 
This fits Discord really well though, asking to be included. He was the one that asked for a throne even though he literally betrayed everyone for Tirek and he usually did bad things only because he wasn’t invited or jealous. :D

I agree, as much as I enjoy Discord, I still prefer that he is already dead by the event of G5, if he lived too long, his sanity will be really bad, unlike Twilight, he was made different.

Maybe he took to mentoring others in the use of chaos. Fluttershy did show him he needs to keep a balance of it. Not showing chaos would kill him, but too much and he loses things precious to him

Yes, I care about G5, and I think it is amazing. So please, dear Kalenz, do not hate other users for liking something that you don’t. We don’t need that kind of attitude in the fandom.

Eh, I think the only reason Hasbro didn’t include you, Discord, is because John de Lancie couldn’t return to do anymore voice work for you, and (at least in the context of the show) it would make little sense to bring back you when every other G4 character is gone, including the (supposedly long lived) Twilight Sparkle.
 
Also, there is the possibility that you may have lost your immortality once magic disappeared, since I don’t think you can keep your physical form without the existence of magic. So it is very likely that you just died off once the magic in Equestria disappeared.
