After Edana ran away from home her family fell into despair. Each one blamed themselves for her sudden disappearance, but no one felt that blame more than Rigel. He had tried so hard to be the perfect big brother and keep Edana happy. He knew something was wrong, but he never anticipated her leaving them, especially without saying goodbye. He couldn’t understand what would cause her to leave them, or him specifically, behind like that. They had been inseparable ever since her birth, so when she left she took a huge part of him with her. Rigel fell into a deep depression. He tried to be there for his parents, especially Wintertide, who was sent into her own extreme spiral from losing another child, but it couldn’t distract him from his own heartache for long.
