Same. I feel so many feelings, but it takes me time to process them, and oftentimes when I’ve processed, the moment to react has already come and gone, so I often just bottle it up. It’s frankly torturous at times, but I can’t help thinking too much about the minute details, which just puts me on a slower wavelength than most people.

That’s partially why I like Maud Pie so much. Despite her lack of reactions she does mind how others feel about her. She still feels insecure and an outcast sometimes.
 
That said, I do know how this feels. Sometimes I have to pretend everything in my mind is fine when really it is not.

That doesn’t make any sense. Alexithymia is an inability to make sense of one’s own emotions.
 
Everything in canon and in the comics indicates she feels and understands her own emotions just fine, she simply doesn’t express them outwardly as strongly as most people.
