Timberwoof
~They change colors during the seasons, and of course lose them during the autumn and winter seasons. In the winter they become dormant like actual trees, and wake in the spring time.
~They also have different wood/leaf types depending on the forest and surrounding vegetation (ex: birch, cedar, and pine timberwolves), and because of this can emit different smells.
~Their bodies are made from a magic green core, and- if the wolf is still mainly intact- can pick up loose branches and wood around them to mend a “wound”. These cores grow stronger from eating (meat is their diet), and the stronger the core, the bigger/more sturdy the wolf can be

~Timberwolves can also “mate” in a way, by two wolves combining a bit of their cores to create children, and timberwolves mate for life.
