She did, now that you mention it, but that’s a different kind of trick, putting oneself in (seeming) danger and pulling it off without being harmed. The teleport flash is supposed to be hidden by the manticore and the box.
In concept, there’s nothing particularly strange about showing off really difficult or incomprehensible stunts. It’s just that the show characterizes Trixie as the perpetual screw up.
The thing is that Trixie uses actual magic for her stage magic, remember the episode with the manticore? ;p
