Since the movie has its own logo, I think they’re only using the old logo because they didn’t want to spoil the new one. It’s likely that the toys releasing next year will have the new logo!

Honestly, I am really glad that Hasbro is still using the current MLP logo, instead of creating a new one for the new series. It will better connect the two shows together, as they are taking place in the same universe as each other.
