I would say anything from S8-S9 but everbody knows about it… but yeah, the comics manages Discord better than the manga, and at least the third volume have the trouble of really trying to feel like S1-S2 series that they really don’t give anything new to explore.
 
The third volume just feels like mane 6 revisiting some old scenarios instead of something new and strange just like the multiverse concept should do. The only good story from the third volume was Twilight’s story just because we see a not very common facet as a character, as someone who cares seriously for Spike to such an extent that he helped the Spike from another universe solve his problems instead of the smartass character who sometimes is a jerk or someone who is worried for not being at Celestia’s expectations.
 
And that trouble can see with Discord which the writer tries to put like a transition between season 2 and season 3 instead of being at least post S3 reformed.

I hate that the manga gives Discord Adaptional Villainy/Jerkass which is when a character is made more villainy or more of a jerk than their original counterpart.
