I am still bitter (just as bitter as eOne absorbing Allspark) about how Hasbro threw everything away for the future of G4 what could have saved their own asses from getting kicked by critics since they cancelled a direct sequel to the 2017 movie (as well as planned conclusion to EqG). But speaking of sequels, this might end up being the Jumanji of the franchise since it’s a sequel reboot rather than a hard reboot. Thanks Emily Thompson! Yes it was supposed to be for Paramount theatrically with a TV show going to be on Discovery Family or Nickelodeon, but franchise being niche and pandemic bullshit led them to say fuck it and gives it to the red N. I hope they can still release it theatrically like they did with past films from Netflix such as The Irishman, Klaus and Army of the Dead. Don’t blame me, bronies want to see ponies on the big screen not the living room. Unlike me who chooses what he wants.
